Poland - SPON

The Association SPON was founded in 1991. Now it has more than 850 members, more than half -  disabled. The Association has four outposts in the Pomeranian countryside. Currently, SPON is engaged in many long term programs.

These include:

• psychological  and  medical  rehabilitation
  
  
• rehabilitation   of children   with  nervous system diseases
  
  
• integration events
  
  
• organization of educational seminars and outdoors workshops
  
  
• co-operation with  respective organizations
  
  
• SPON’s quarterly “Razem Raźniej” (1000 copies 4 times a year)

SPON is a non - profit NGO. It works with  its members and approximately 100 learners a year, specializing in programmes for disabled adults and children; support groups; therapy and rehabilitation. SPON has been a partner in three European projects (Socrates and Leonardo da Vinci) so far.
