The University of Toulouse-le Mirail provides teaching in the fields of Humanities, Arts, Languages, Social Studies, Social Science and Natural Sciences. The Continuous Training Service, whose annual turnover is 2.5 millions of euros, is responsible for the development and engineering of the Lifelong Learning and Continuous Training's Activities (42 persons team / 6 engineers / 6500 trainees in 1998).
All the fields of knowledge and subjects provided by the university are represented through this Service. In the CARERS project, we are responsible for the development and the pedagogical test of the didactic aids for trainers and will work in close collaboration with the pedagogic teams of “Social Work Pole” that, since 1975, have been providing training to social workers in France.
We offer training packages leading to qualifications and diplomas, as well as services upon request in the social and socio-medical sector, namely:
- The Diploma of University of the Early Childhood's Executives' sector
- The State Diploma in Social Engineering (DEIS) and the profesional Master in sociology, social Intervention and modification
The University of Toulouse-le Mirail is specialised in the innovation and development of open and distance education and e-learning.
